Welcome to The Tales of a Locreress.

Kalulja, a wandering woman, has journeyed far and wide, gathering songs and tales from both near and distant lands. She hails from ancient Locris, a region of classical Greece and the ancestral home of the Locrians.

Here, I present a selection of the songs Kalulja

gathered on her travels.

The songs are written either in English or in unknown languages — by which I mean homecrafted words and sounds, whose meanings no one may know. Yet they

cast the mood for the story hidden within the song.

Some songs come with a longer story. These will be published at a later date.

Each song opens with a rhyme, a transitional poem about Kalulja’s journey and her meeting with the characters of the chosen story and song.

Kalulja is The Locreress, and the one who binds the stories together.
